Brief Description:
The Claris edge-lit exit sign is a modern and upscale selection featuring an illuminated panel design with brilliantly crested edges via energy-efficient red or green LEDs and is capable of being surface mounted in top, side, or back positioning.

Illumination

The Clairis is Illuminated internally using an energy-efficient array of brilliant LEDs. The light is channeled through the optically clear panel which is edged with a reflective material which directs light back towards the etched letters. The result is a modern exit sign with clean and impressive lines. 

Mounting

The Clairis is designed for surface wall mounting for both back and side positions, ceiling surface mounting, and pendant ceiling mounting using an optional stem adapter. The various mounting options are possible by using the included metal mounting adapter.

  • Available in White, Black, Brushed Aluminum, and Custom Colors Upon Request
  • Surface mounted design capable of top, side, or back mounting.

Options

The Claris is available in red or green letters, white, brushed aluminum, or black housing, with a single or double sided panel, and includes the arrow kit for setting the arrows at the time of installation. 8" Red lettered panels are available for New York City installations as required for the 5 boroughs. 

Warranty

The Clairis has a 5 year warranty and a prorated 5-year battery warranty.

Installation

Quick install requires only 3 wires plus two screws. The adhesive arrows can be applied at the time of installation and are easily aligned with precision using the included templates.

Electrical

  • 120/277v 60hz transformer
  • Charge rate power “ON” LED indicator light and push-to-test switch for mandated code compliance testing.
  • 4.8V long life, maintenance-free, rechargeable NiCd battery.
  • Internal solid-state transfer switch automatically connects the internal battery to LED board for minimum 90-minute emergency illumination.
  • Fully automatic solid-state, two-rate charger initiates battery charging to recharge a discharged battery in 24 hours.

Mechanical

  • Maintenance-free NiCad battery (on EM models)
  • Battery will operate fixture for a minimum of 90 minutes in the event of a power outage
  • Recharge time 24 hours
