Installation

Installation is simple with the universal installation kit. The kit includes the mounting hardware for back, top, or side installation; wire nuts, screws for junction box mounting, a canopy which makes connecting with a pendant stem possible, and the necessary faceplates for single or double sided functionality. The faceplates have snap in/out arrows which can be configured at time of installation. 

Electrical

Comes standard with a Dual 120/277 voltage 60Hz transformer.
Includes Charge rate/power “ON” LED indicator light and push-to-test switch for mandated code compliance testing.
4.8V long life, maintenance-free, rechargeable NiCad battery.
Internal solid-state transfer switch automatically connects the internal battery to LED board for minimum 90-minute emergency illumination.
Fully automatic solid-state, two rate charger initiates battery charging to recharge a discharged battery in 24 hours. AC Only (no battery backup) or Dual AC Circuits (for buildings that have back up power via generator or inverter) available, as well as AC + Integrated Battery Backup.

Mechanical

The low profile design provides a clean, attractive and affordable solution. The durable thermoplastic housing is corrosion and flame resistant. The stencils include removable chevrons that allow for easy “in the field” installation decisions. The modern and efficient design of the sign allows for wall, ceiling or end mounting. Canopy and all installation hardware are included.

Optics

Powerful but efficient red or green LEDs evenly and brilliantly illuminate the full 6" 3/4" stroke Exit legend. The sign face features removable chevrons which when removed reveal easily legible, illuminated directional indicators. The sign is rated for a minimum of 100ft viewing distance.
