Illumination

High visibility through precision edge etched letters and arrows. Red or green LEDs provide even illumination. The mirror panel or white panel offer two different effects on double face signs. The mirror offers a reflection of the ceiling creating the illusion of a clear panel. The white panel offers a clean look when the ceiling design surrounding the exit sign would present an unpleasant reflection when viewed at 45 degrees below the sign.

Ceiling recessed using the provided housing.

Recessed housing with 27inch bar hangers provided. Available for install on T-bar grid or sheet rock as the unit has bottom access.

Installation

Suitable for flush ceiling recessed Installs (includes T-bar via bar hangers)

Electrical

System accepts voltages from 120v to 347V AC. For remotely powered units, the system sends 6 to 24v DC. 

Mechanical

The recessed housing is maintained securely with adjustable 27 inch bar hangers. The panel is locked into place from beneath and is able to be removed. The circuitry is access from the below as well making the system suitable for drywall/sheetrock  ceiling installations. The unit contains an optional microcontroller that performs the required monthly and annual testing and displays the status via visible blinking LED indicators. The SDT option is helpful in areas with high ceilings as it can remove the need for a ladder or a lift to conduct required testing.

Optics

U-shaped folded acrylic panel with etched letters and chevrons offers the highest-fidelity of clarity and even illumination. 

Construction

Die-cast aluminum trim plate, premium, clear, etched-acrylic trim plate available in brushed or polished finishes.

Indoors dry or damp areas where temperatures do not exceed a range of 32F-122F
